Tickets and bid sheets are now available in preparation for the Bluffton for Hope Cancer relay fundraisers.
The community is invited to support cancer research through several projects underway for the June 19-20 Bluffton for Hope cancer relay event, which takes place at Bluffton Family Recreation, 2015 Snider Road.
Area athletes are invited to show their support for the fight against cancer on Saturday, June 20, at the Bluffton for Hope event at BFR Sports & Fitness.
Registration for the event is available online www.active.com or by completing a registration form available at Village Cut & Curl or Polished.
The run will begin and end at BFR and will travel on paved roads through town.
Bluffton cars and coffee – an informal gathering for enthusiasts and their cars – is coming to Bluffton.
The monthly event will be offered on the fourth Saturday of each month from June through October in the parking lot of Masterpiece Signs, 906 N. Main St., next to its heated vehicle storage area, according to Tim Boutwell.
Each event is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the following Saturdays: June 27, July 25, Aug. 22, Sept. 26, and Oct. 24.
Coffee and pastries are by Common Grounds, according to Boutwell.
Tommy Tire Sales, 319 N. Main St., Bluffton, will have its second annual free ice cream day in July, according to Tom Dotson.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, July 24.
"Jay Lugibihl will bring his homemade ice cream maker again and also this year we will be doing a bonus for the kids with free pony rides from noon to 5 p.m," said Dotson.
Topp Chalet, 229 W. Fifth St., Delphos, will host this month’s Lincoln Highway Association Western Ohio Chapter meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 16.
After attendees order dinner individually from the menu, a small business meeting will take place and then the group will travel to 327 S. Bredeick St. in Delphos around 7:15 p.m. to visit the former home of world renowned astronomer, Leslie Peltier.
