Bluffton artist Gregg Luginbuhl will receive two significant awards at The Ohio Craft Museum, Columbus, on Sunday, May 3.
The first is a juror’s award in The Best of 2015, the annual exhibition of fine craft organized by Ohio Designer Craftsmen. He will receive the award for Excellence in Functional Ceramics for Rustic Decanter XXX and 6 Cups. This is the most recent piece in his Rustic Decanter Series, which began about 12 years ago.
This year’s juror, Beth Ann Gerstein, is Executive Director of The American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pamona, California.

Bluffton University recognized many of its top students for their academic achievements at the annual Academic Awards and Honors Forum on April 21.
Honored as distinguished scholars in their respective academic areas were 36 seniors. Drew Luginbuhl of Bluffton was named distinguished scholar in two programs—information technology and mathematics.
Bluffton Relay for Life Run for Hope 5k will be held June 20. The race will start and finish at Bluffton Sports and Fitness.
Registration starts at 7:30, and the race begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration is $20 and includes a shirt if registered by June 5. After June 5, registration. Is $25.
