It's a multi-cultural world out there. Just ask Bluffton elementary students. As visitors and students enter the elementary lobby they view an art project that demonstrates how multi-cultural our world is. 

Ordinance 03-14, the most talked about Bluffton council ordinance in years, passed on May 20.

Better known as the Bluffton sidewalk ordinance, it technically amends an earlier sidewalk ordinance 07-13. That earlier ordinance stated that sidewalks be constructed and maintained in "all" residential area of the village.

One of Bluffton's signature summer events - 47th Bluffton Lions Club Festival of Wheels Cruise-In takes place on Main Street Friday, June 14.

The show includes antique cars, classic cars, golf carts, tractors, fire engines, motor cycles, Cushman's plus an arts and crafts area.

This year's schedule follows:

BFR Sports and Fitness will hold a “Goals Galore” summer 3v3 soccer tournament on Saturday, June 28.

The single day tournament for teams at U8 through adult divisions (max. roster size of 5). A $75 fee is due by June 17; if space allows teams can be added after that day for $85 per team.

Small fields (60 ft x 40 ft) with small goals.

Registrations are being accepted for the Saturday, Aug. 30, BFR Sports and Fitness Labor Day 5K Run or Walk, featuring a Pump and Run.
