The Bluffton University cheerleaders will host three practices for girls in grades 2-6, leading to a performance at a Beavers football game on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Participants will learn a dance, cheer and chant at the practices, scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16; Wednesday, Sept. 18; and Friday, Sept. 20, all on Copeland Court in the Sommer Center.
The performance will take place at halftime of the Sept. 21 game against Earlham at Salzman Stadium. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.
Dr. Gayle Trollinger, a professor and chair of education at Bluffton University, will address "Professional Development Schools: Best Practice for School/University Collaboration” at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, in Stutzman Lecture Hall in Bluffton’s Centennial Hall.
The first colloquium of the academic year on campus, the presentation is free and open to the public.
