Students from Ohio Northern University's T.J. Smull College of Engineering have created a team of robotic football players to compete in the fourth annual University of Notre Dame robotic football competition on Friday, April 20, at 7 p.m. in Notre Dame's Stepan Center.

Mount Cory and Pleasant View United Methodist Churches will hold a dinner and concert Sunday, April 29, according to Rev. Jerry Lewis, pastor.

Dinner will be served from 5 to 6:15 p.m. In includes chicken and homemade noodles, salad, dessert and beverage for a donation. Carry-out is available.

A concert at 6:30 p.m. features Kevin Mabry from the Marysville United Methodist Church. A free-will offering will be received at the concernt.

The event will be held at the Bethel Family Life Center, 210 W. Washington St., Mount Cory.

Beginning Monday, June 11, storytime for preschoolers ages 3-5 will be held at Bluffton Public Library on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

Themes this summer are based on the early literacy collaborative summer reading program, "Dream Big - Read!" Each Storytime session is approximately 35-40 minutes in length and includes stories, songs, finger plays and other related activities. Parents or caregivers must register their child at the library's front desk.

Storytime is a free, fun way to help children develop their imagination and early literacy skills.

The Bluffton Lady Pirates have had a busy first two weeks of the softball season. The Pirates swatted down their first three opponents, McComb, Carey, and USV before stumbling to Ottawa Glandorf 8-1 and Perry in a double header 11-8 and 10-3.

The Pirates traveled to Spencerville last Thursday for the NWC season opener against the Bearcats and came away with an easy 10-2 win.
