James Nagle, a storyteller from the Cleveland suburb of Lyndhurst, will present "Stories from the Road: Encounters with the Living God" at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, in Bluffton University's Yoder Recital Hall. The forum is free and open to the public.

Bluffton University's Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR), an educational program for retirees, is offering several classes led by local residents on Wednesdays, Jan. 18-Feb. 22, at the Bluffton town hall.

The winter term costs $50, which allows participants to take as many classes as they wish and to join in other ILR activities. The fee is due at the time of registration.

"Sharing Stories of Bluffton's History" will be the theme of 10 a.m. classes.

Five ministries of the Bluffton area will participate in the annual
Bluffton pulpit exchange on Sunday, Jan. 15.

The preaching schedule follows:

Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of College Ave. and S. Main Streets. Nathaniel Hursh, 17, Bluffton was issued a citation for failing to yield the right of way. The case is pending in Allen County Juvenile Court.

A Bern St. resident reported that unknown persons had flipped their riding lawnmower onto its top while it was sitting in the front yard.
