The Bluffton University baseball team traveled to Albion College on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 to take on the Britons in a non-conference game. The Beavers pounded out 16 hits in a 17-10 win over Albion. Bluffton improved to 8-10, while Britons slipped to 4-11 on the season.
The Camerata Singers of Bluffton University will participate in the 10:30 a.m. worship service at Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora, on April 10.
The select 24-member choral group recently returned from their spring-break tour in Arizona, Indiana, Illinois and Iowa. Its members represent a variety of academic disciplines across campus. The conductor, Dr. Mark J. Suderman, is professor of music and director of choral activities at Bluffton.
Jason Brown, a Bluffton University football player from Napoleon, moves a log in the university's nature preserve during the team's March 26 service project. More than 80 players and several coaches cleaned up fallen timber and branches and worked on pathways in the preserve.
The Columbus Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a dinner event featuring State Senator Cliff Hite on Sunday, April 10, at the Columbus Grove VFW, 218 E. Sycamore.

It's not too early to start planning that graduation party in your home. Southgate Lanes, 9700 N. Dixie Highway, Bluffton, is scheduling grad parties now, according to John Dailey.
A Southgate Lanes rental includes use of the entire building, bowling shoes and balls, persons may bring their own food, and rental is by the hour at reasonable rates.
