The Bluffton University men's basketball team fell to Anderson in the first round of the Heartland Conference tournament at Manchester College on Friday, February 25, 2011.

The Ravens went up 24-4 midway through the first period and Bluffton never recovered as the No. 3 seed dispatched the Beavers by a final score of 75-60. Bluffton ended its season with a 15-11 mark, while Anderson improved to 18-8 on the year. The Ravens move into the HCAC semi-finals at 5 p.m. on Saturday against No. 2 seed Hanover College before Manchester hosts Transylvania at 7 p.m.

Bluffton hosts two Michigan folk singers for the Town Hall Concert Series at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb 26, in the community room of the town hall, according to Wendy Chappell-Dick.

Performing are Andru Bemis and Pam Chappell. No tickets necessary; donations taken at the door.

Bluffton Public Library's first Library Lovers "Cook for Books" Chili Cook-Off will take place on Saturday, Feb. 26, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Jim Boedicker of Ada will provide live entertainment from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.Three local "celebrities" - Matt Jordan, Fred Steiner and Phil Zimmerly - will judge samples to determine which cook will receive bragging rights for having the best chili.

Guests will also vote for their favorite chili to determine the winner of the people's choice award.

Bluffton Hospital has received high scores in the latest Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient satisfaction survey.

The most recent HCAHPS survey results show that 87 percent of responding patients gave Bluffton Hospital an overall rating of '9' or '10' (on a scale where '0' was the lowest score and '10' was the highest).
