On the last Friday of the month, the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program provides a mobile health clinic with free health screenings at Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St.
The barn at Dan and Cindy Basinger's is getting ready for a second life at the Schumacher Homestead, 8350 Bixel Rd. This week crews are carefully disassembling the 1850s Swiss Settlement barn so it can be repurposed as a Heritage Center for the Swiss Community Historical Society.

The rural Pandora nature preserve will be open to visitors from 1 to 4 p.m., when you can see the 1853 log cabin, learn about birds, insects and who to attract them, and visit residents of the farm animal sanctuary.
The Bluffton Town Hall Concert Series has announced 7 p.m., July 23 performances by Dreamjacket (Jesse W. Johnson of Chicago) and Ric Hickey (Bluffton).
Performances are on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall, 156 N. Main St.
