1-7-10 Winter storm advisory

Don't say that you weren't warned. Bluffton Police Chief Rick Skilliter advised The Icon of a winter storm advisory. Coming from the National Weather Service, the advisory was issued on Thurday, Jan. 7, for Allen County. On the 7th will be snow with a high temperature of 24 degrees, winds from the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Snow accumulation of from 4 to 5 inches is likely.
On Thursday night, Jan. 7, additional snow is likely. The low will be 12 degrees with winds up to 5 miles per hour. New snow acculumation of 1 to 2 inches is possible. Total snowfall expected is around 5 inches.
On Friday, Jan. 8, blowing snow is predicted. Winds from the northwest will be at 5 to 10 miles per hour. The high temperature is expected to be 20 degrees.
Skilliter told The Icon to advise viewers to monitor local news media and NOAA weather radio for further information as conditions warrant.
