SCHOOL CANCELLATIONS AS TEXT MESSAGES

What will they think of next? Bluffton school district parents and students now have a free option to check on school delays, school cancellations or other school emergencies. The Bluffton school board signed up with Rhino Alert. In the program, which is free, persons may sign up with Rhino and receive either text messages or e-mail messages alerting them to delays or cancellations. The board okayed offering the free service to persons in the school district on Jan. 11. By the next day over 50 persons had signed up for the alerts.
