Madlyn V. Marquart Kimmel 1923-2012
Madlyn V. Marquart Kimmel, 89, of Bluffton died at 7:04 a.m. March 10, 2012, at Richland Manor, Bluffton.
She was born in Lima Jan. 21, 1923, the daughter of Faye and Ilo Isham. On Nov. 1, 1942 she married Francis Marquart and he preceded her in death on June 15, 1988. On June 15, 1991 she married Joel Kimmel and he survives in Bluffton.
Mrs. Kimmel was retired from Triplett Corp., Bluffton. She was a 50-year member of the Bluffton Order of the Eastern Star # 380, the Bluffton Senior Citizens and the Bluffton Presbyterian Church. She was a 1942 graduate of Bluffton High School. She enjoyed traveling.
Survivors also include a daughter, Barbara Fett of Pandora, a stepson, Alan (Pam) Kimmel of Canfield, two stepdaughters, Jane Kimmel of Kailua, Hawaii, Mary Kimmel of Concord, N.H. and two step grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 8 p.m. Monday at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. Dr. Matthew B. Zuehlke and Rev. Judy Huber will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bluffton Presbyterian Church or the activity fund at Richland Manor. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
