Deloris E. Hemry 1934-2012
Deloris E. Hemry, 77, of Bluffton, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 8:18 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Columbus Grove to Jesse Franklin and Laura (Hartman) Mumea. On July 5, 1963, she married Roger L. Hemry and he died May 1, 1998.
Mrs. Hemry was a member of the North Shore Animal League, the Sierra Club and Feature Films for Families. She was a member of the Tri-County Family Assembly of God.
Surviving are four sons, Dennis (Rose) Dearth, Donald Dearth, Roger (Sandra) Hemry, and Vincent (Deb) Hemry.
Also surviving are three daughters, Deborah (Steve) Smith, Chris (Rick) Lawhorn, and Dawn (Ronald) Bailey.
A sister, Pat (Chuck) Dawson of Spencerville, and a brother-in-law, Jack Calvin of Monroe, Mich., also survive. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service is at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 31, at the Tri County Family Assembly of God, Bluffton. Pastor Terry Hunt will officiate. Visitation is from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorials may go to the Allen County or Hancock County Animal Shelter.
