Erin Weaver recital Feb. 7
Bluffton University senior Erin Weaver of Bluffton, soprano and violin, will perform a senior recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, in Yoder Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in the lobby.
A voice student of Dr. Crystal Sellers and a violin student of Anita Skinner, Weaver will display her talent by performing vocal selections including Villanelle by Hector Berlioz, Au Printemps by Charles Gounod and Come Ready and See Me by Richard Hundley. Violin selections include Concerto in E minor by Pietro Nardini and Concerto for Two Violins in A minor by J.S. Bach. Anita Skinner will assist on violin.
Weaver will be accompanied by Anna Stembler-Smith on piano. Her recital is presented in partial fulfillment of requirements for graduation with a major in music education at Bluffton University.
