Family storytime and "yoga for kids" on April-May library calendar
Bluffton Public Library will be hosting two exciting new programs for preschool children and their families this spring.
First, it's fun for the whole family during "Family Storytime." This program includes stories, songs, finger plays and other fun activities designed for children from birth to age 5, but older siblings are also welcome.
"Family Storytime" will be held on Monday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, May 12, at 10 a.m. during the Bluffton Arts and Crafts Festival. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver for these programs. No registration is necessary.
Also during May, Bluffton Public Library will host a "Yoga for Kids" exercise program with guest instructor Rachel Stutzman. Yoga sessions introducing basic yoga poses for children ages 4-6 will be held Monday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Monday, May 14, at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Registration is required and parents may either stay in the room during the class or wait on the main floor of the library.
Please call 419-358-5016, e-mail [email protected], or visit the library for more information or to register for "Yoga for Kids."
