Friends of the Library invite you to go golfing with the mayor
Love to golf? Love your library? Put the two together and you get the "Birdies for Bookworms" Golf Scramble on Saturday, June 9. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Bluffton Public Library and offers many fun ways to support the local library.
Golfers can join Mayor Eric Fulcomer for a scramble event at the Bluffton Golf Club including green fees, cart, continental breakfast and lunch for $50. There will also be a skins game, proximity prizes and door prizes for golfers.
Anyone purchasing a mulligan will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Wal-Mart gift card. Participants are asked to register by Tuesday, May 29, at Bluffton Public Library.
The "Birdies for Bookworms" Golf Scramble supports literacy and lifelong learning in Bluffton.
Registration forms for the golf outing are available at the library and at www.blufftonpubliclibrary.org.
