Bluffton Public Library offers the secret to a relaxing summer - three special programs
Bluffton Public Library has an exciting series of relaxing programs planned for June. The "Relax, Recharge, Rejuvenate" program series will feature three opportunities to escape the daily routine, enjoy an evening out and learn about ways to relax.
The first program in the series is a "Beat the Heat: Plant an Evening Garden" program, which will be presented by Allen County Master Gardener Pat Komarek on Tuesday, June 5, at 6:30 p.m. Guests will learn how to create a twilight garden with night blooms and evening fragrances that will delight the senses. RSVP is requested by Monday, June 4.
A "Lavender Bliss" program, presented by Joyce VanAtta of Ada, will be held on Thursday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m. Guests will recharge their senses and learn about the many uses and benefits of lavender, create lavender bath salts and enjoy lavender refreshments. Guests may wish to bring a pint jar for bath salts. A $5 supplies fee is due with registration. Registration is requested by Wednesday, June 13.
The final program in this series is "De-Stress & Unwind Naturally," presented by Linda Houshower, co-owner of the Food Store in Bluffton, on Tuesday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a rejuvenating evening and learn about relaxing herbal teas and aromatic oils that can help soothe tensions. Free tea samples (hot and iced) will be available. RSVP is requested by Monday, June 18.
All programs will be held at Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St. Please call 419-358-5016 or email [email protected] for more information.
