Police responded to an injury traffic crash at the intersection SR 103 and Commerce Lane. Donald Wherly, 73, Ottawa was issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
7th
Police responded to a S. Main St. residence in regards to a Burglary. Officers found that unknown persons entered the residence and took numerous items while the owner was away.
8th
Officers took a criminal damaging complaint from a Harrod resident who stated that unknown persons caused damage to her vehicle while it was parked at a Main St. business.
10th
Police took a theft report from a Vance St. resident.
11th
Police took a complaint from a S. Main St. resident reporting that someone had stolen checks and savings bonds from their residence.
12th
Officers responded to Vance St. business and recovered a set of "nutcracker" figurines that were found behind the business.
Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 300 block of Cherry St. Ralph Carmichael, 85, Bluffton was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Reasonable Control. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
14th
Officers responded to a Snider Rd. business in regards to a non-injury traffic crash that had occurred in the parking lot. Upon arrival Police arrested Bryant Anderson, 46, Fostoria, for Driving with a Suspended License. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
16th
Police arrested Lynn Rossman, 35, Bluffton, for OVI following a traffic stop on County Line Road for a stop sign violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
Police took a theft report from a Cherry St. resident who stated that an unknown person took money from his wallet while he was sleeping.
19th
Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the 200 block of S. Main St. Pamela Dulaney, 36, Ottawa, was issued a citation for an improper turn. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
21st
Police arrested Sarah Woessner, 44, Bluffton, for OVI following a traffic stop on Garmatter St for an equipment and registration violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
Officers received a theft complaint from a university student who stated that his laptop computer was stolen after he had dropped it off for service.
23rd
Officers received two complaints of marbles having been shot through windows. The first was at the Bluffton High School where a Jackson St. entrance door had been damaged. The second incident occurred on Spring St. where a window was shot of a parked vehicle. Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the Bluffton Police Department.
Officers arrested Nicole Frey, 20, Wauseon, for Underage Consumption after the group of people she was with was stopped near Vine St. and Lawn Ave. because of a noise complaint. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
24th
Officers received a complaint of a lost ATM card from a Riley Creek Ct. resident
Officers arrested Matthew Phillips, 20, Springfield, for Underage Consumption after he and another subject ran from officers attempting to talk to them. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
Officers arrested Kyle Maran, 19, Toledo, and Eric Penz, 20, Troy, Mich., for Underage Consumption after they were stopped by officers at the intersection of Lawn Ave. and Vine Streets. The cases are pending in Lima Municipal Court.
26th
Officers responded to the Bluffton Middle School in response to a drug complaint. Officers confiscated a small amount of marijuana from a student at the school.
Officers responded to a S. Jackson residence in regards to a landlord having problems with a tenant. Both parties were referred to their attorneys to assist in settling the dispute.
29th
Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash on Bentley Road near Grove St. Jeffrey Vogel, 18, Bluffton, was issued a citation for Reasonable Control. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.
Officers responded to a non-injury car/deer traffic crash in the 10000 block of Grove-Bluffton Rd.
30th
Officers arrested Brent Schroeder, 19, Continental, for Driving in Violation of License Restrictions following a traffic stop for speeding on Elm St. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
31st
Officers responded to a Commerce Lane business and took a theft report involving a subject that left the business without paying for a fuel purchase.
Officers responded to a N. Lawn Ave. residence in regards to a domestic dispute.
