Richland Manor kicks off annual food drive
Richland Manor, 7400 Swaney Road, a Trilogy Health Services Community and a Bluffton, provider of senior health and living services officially kicked off its annual company-wide Independence from Hunger food drive.
The campus business office is accepting non-perishable food items and monetary donations now through to July 3. Donors will be entered for a chance to win a $ 50 gift card to their choice of restaurant or, in the case of an organization, winning a catered in lunch for all employees.
All proceeds will benefit the Bluffton Community Assistance Program's food pantry.
Last year, Richland Manor raised $ 4,475 and filled over 45 family food baskets for the Bluffton Community Assistance Program.
Richland Manor's goal this year is to exceed $6,000 and fill 60 baskets of food.
"Members of the community, residents' families and friends, and campus employees are encouraged to contribute to this great cause," said Barry Schneck, community service representative.
He added, "We will offer a one-day pick up in Bluffton and surrounding communities on Thursday, June 28. Please call to schedule a pick up at your location."
