May 3
-A debit card was found on the street and turned in to the Police Department.

May 4
-A Carey resident reported losing his wallet while at the Shannon Theater.

May 5
-A Riley St. resident filed a missing juvenile report after her child did not return home the previous evening.
-Police were notified of a suspicious male hanging around the Buckeye Park. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the person who was described.

May 8
-A Thurman St. business filed a Criminal Damaging report after finding damage and vandalism to his business.
-A Bentley Rd. resident reported that unknown persons had caused damage to her car while it was parked at the laundromat.
-Officers responded to a Riley St. residence in response to an unruly juvenile.

May 9
-A S. Main St. business reported someone trying to cash a forged check.
-Officers responded to the First Mennonite Church in response to a robbery. The victim reported an unknown male inside the church and he attempted to get money from her before fleeing.

May 11
-A Howell, Mich., resident reported leaving several bags of jewelry in a local motel. Officers checked the room and located the items in question.
-A wallet that was found near the intersection of County Line Road and N. Main St. was turned in at the Police Department.

May 12
-Officers responded to the 100 block of Cherry St. in response to a Hit-Skip traffic crash. After a short investigation the owner of the vehicle that left the scene, Heath Sutherly, 35, Ada, was located and charged with Reasonable Control and a registration violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

May 13
-Police arrested Brett Baxter, 20, Lima, for OVI following a traffic stop on S. Main St. for a Lanes of Travel violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
-A Grove St. resident reported being threatened and harassed while she was at her ex-husband's residence.
-A County Line Road resident reported damage done to his vehicle by a dog while he was parked on Riley St.

May 14
-A Sunset Dr. resident reported a possible scam involving a call from Global International Service stating that he had won $500 million and a new car.
-Officers responded to the intersection of S. Main St. and Kibler St. in response to an injury traffic crash. Daryl Nusbaum, 40, Bluffton, was cited for Reasonable Control. The case is pending in Bluffton Mayor's Court.

May 15
-An employee at a S. Main St. business reported finding an unknown substance that he thought could be drugs in a couple of vials that were left at the business. After testing the substance, it was determined to be solidified powdered sugar.
-A N. Main St. resident reported that her bicycle was stolen while it was parked at the university.
-A Vance St. business reported receiving several harassing phone calls from an unsatisfied customer.

May 18
-A Jackson St. resident reported that his ex-girlfriend had stolen items from his house when she moved out of the residence.

May 19
-A N. Main St. resident reported that an unknown person had punctured the tires on her car while it was parked in the parking lot behind her apartment.

May 20
-While officers were on patrol around 4 am they discovered that someone had broken into the Hancock-Wood power substation on County Line Road. After further investigation it was determined that a reel of wire had been taken from within the fence.

May 21
- A SR 103 hotel reported that a previous guest had caused a substantial amount of damage to the room she was staying in and then left without paying.

May 24
-A South Main St. resident reported having numerous problems with his daughter and filed an unruly juvenile complaint.

May 29
-Police responded to a Tom Fett Rd residence in regards to an injured deer on the property. Officers found the deer and put it down.
May 31

-A Poplar St. resident filed a telephone harassment complaint.
-A County Line Road business reported that an unknown person had caused damage to a fence at the business.
