The annual Beaverdam-Richland Fire Department's Summerfest is Saturday, Aug. 11, in downtown Beaverdam.
The event starts at 4 p.m. There will be lots of homemade food, door prizes, live musical entertainment and inflatable rides for kids.
At 9:30 p.m. the grand prizes will be drawn. This year's prizes include:
o One-quarter beef
o Patio furniture
o Kalahari Weekend Getaway
o Swimming pool
o Keurig coffee maker
Persons do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickets are available from members of the department. They will also be sold during the Summerfest.
The committee planning the festival asks that any pies or cakes that could be donated would be appreciated. Please drop them off on Saturday.
