JANUARY STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Shannon McKamey, a senior at Bluffton High School, is the student of the month for January. She is a member of math club, art club, chess club, vice president of the student senate, show choir, Future Shepherds 4-H Club and was a junior class officer, Shannon participates in BHS volleyball and softball. She has earned the 2009 most improved in softball and 2009 most improved in volleyball awards. She has enrolled in two post-secondary classes: pre-calculus in the fall and calculus this winter. She is the daughter of Deric and Leeanna McKamey, Grismore Road.
