Edgar Huber was a 1943 graduate of Bluffton High School
Edgar E. Huber, 87 died at 2:45 a.m. Oct. 15, 2012, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton. He was born July 28, 1925, in Richland Township to Harry and Nellie (Klingler) Huber. On June 26, 1954 he married Anita Althaus and she survives.
Mr. Huber was a farmer. He had worked in building and grounds at Ohio Northern University. He was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora. He was a 1943 graduate of Bluffton High School.He was a Marine veteran of World War II.
Survivors also include two sons Mark Huber of Toledo, Wayne (Jana) Huber of Bluffton; a daughter Diane Huber of Bluffton and four grandchildren.
Two sisters, Mae Hutchinson and Edna Ernest, preceded him in death.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace Mennonite Church, Pandora. Pastors Ivan and Rachel Friesen officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton, where military rites will be performed.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
