The 9th annual soup and sandwich supper hosted by the Mennonite Memorial Home women's service group is in early March. The event is from 4 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 8, at the Home. It offers a take-out or dine-in option.

There will be serving three soups; ham and bean, chicken noodle vegetable and broccoli cheese soup. Also served will be sloppyjoes, hot dogs, and pulled pork sandwiches, cornbread muffins and a selection of desserts.

"The cost for the dinner is on a donation basis. If you have any questions please call 419-358-1015," said Julie Stratton.

"The Women Service Group serves the residents of the Mennonite Memorial Home by providing that special touch of warmth and enjoyment to many at MMH. Over the years they have financed many special projects like the bird aviaries and have contributed other items that have been vital in bringing enjoyment for the residents," she said.
