Letter: Thanks to all my customers
Letter of thanks to
Greg’s Pharmacy
customers
To the residents of Bluffton and the surrounding communities, I would like to say "thank you" for you loyalty, trust and patronage.
You’re loyalty and support has been the cornerstone to the success of Greg’s Pharmacy.
There comes a time when all good things must end and this is the time for me. I have decided to sell the pharmacy. The official sale will take place on Dec. 31, 2012.
The new owners are a regional chain from the Dayton area – Clark’s Pharmacy. Tim Clark the owner is a third generation independent pharmacy owner. They understand what it takes to provide “quality products, comprehensive information and never-ending service.”
The new owners are good people with similar philosophies regarding customer service and respect for their employees.
I just hope in some small way I have been able to give back to the community this trust and loyalty by personally caring for you and your family's health care needs. I have gotten to know you, your children and now your children’s children.
Many times I am asked if I have been working hard and I truly answer, “I have never been accused of working.” Being a pharmacist has never been a job, or business it has always been about “taking care of people and their health care needs.”
And I wish I could do it forever, I have been working since I have been 12 years old, a pharmacist for some 40 years. It is time for me to spend more time with my best friend, my wife. She has truly been the wind beneath my wings with her undying support and courage.
The words "Thank You" does not seem adequate enough to express the gratitude Edna and I have for all of the people who have touched our lives and those wonderful employees who really are Greg’s Pharmacy.
Thank you again and God bless you all.
Greg Conkling
