Public sale of tickets begins next week for OHSAA State Basketball Tournaments
The date to purchase all-session tickets for both the 2013 OHSAA Boys and Girls State Basketball Tournaments has been moved earlier this year for fans interested in watching some of the best high school basketball in the nation.
All-session tickets for both tournaments will go on sale beginning Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster or in person at The Ohio State University’s Jerome Schottenstein Center, the site of both state tournaments that take place in March.
The OHSAA Boys State Basketball Tournament is Thursday through Saturday, March 21-23, and the cost for all-session (12 games) tickets is $144 per person for the Entry and Club Levels of the arena or $120 each for the Terrace Level.
Single-session ticket sales begin Monday, March 11, at 10 a.m., and are priced at $15 each for the Entry and Club Levels and $12 for the Terrace Level.
The OHSAA Girls State Basketball Tournament is Thursday through Saturday, March 14-16, and the cost for all-session (12 games/eight sessions) tickets is $64 each. Single-game ticket sales for the girls state tournament begin Tuesday, February 5, and the cost is $10 apiece. Tickets for the semifinals of the girls state tournaments are good for admission to both games in the same division.
The same procedures can be followed for ordering boys and girls state tournament tickets. Tickets can be purchased in person at Ticketmaster locations (including most Kroger stores), by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 or by going on-line atticketmaster.com.
Ticketmaster orders will also include applicable service charges. To avoid service charges, tickets can be purchased in person in Columbus at the OSU Athletic Ticket Office, located in the southeast corner of the Schottenstein Center with office hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
