University ‘Kid’s Night Out’ registration underway
Bluffton University recreation students and intramural athletics staff will host Kid’s Night Out from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, March 23, in the Sommer Center for Health and Fitness Education.
Open to children in grades 1-6, the event costs $13 per child if registered by March 21 and $15 at the door. Families who pre-register more than one child will pay $12 per youngster. A parent must accompany any child who registers at the door. Checks should be payable to the Bluffton University Recreation Club.
A maximum of 100 children will be allowed at the event, where they will be placed in groups by age and will participate in six supervised stations. Refreshments will be available beforehand—at $1.50 for drinks, candy and chips—and each child will receive a door prize and a chance to win one of four new bicycles. Children should wear comfortable gym clothes.
For more information, contact Tami Forbes, chair of Bluffton’s health, fitness and sport science department, at [email protected] or 419-358-3336.
