Tom Clark inducted into wrestling hall of fame
Former Bluffton resident Tom Clark was recently inducted into the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame. The induction took place on Feb. 21.
Clark was inducted on the basis of his contributions as a referee on the high school and international level. This year's induction class included four coaches, four wrestlers and three referees.
The banquet was in Indianapolis.
On April 25 Clark will be inducted into the Greater Toledo Wrestling Coaches Association/Northwest Ohio Wrestling Hall of Fame. This event will be on the the second induction class. The banquest will be in Perrysburg.
Clark's induction on April 25 is as a referee both on the international level and contributions made while he was still in Ohio.
Two other referees (1 other Olympic referee Dick Torio) and several wrestlers including two former Olympic team members, Mark Coleman and Greg Wojiechowski will also be inducted.
