Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services offers spring special
Spring is here and Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services is here to help.
“The annual process of spring cleaning is fun and satisfying,” says Kathy Rode, Director of Home Health & Senior Services. “It’s the only time of year that projects like house cleaning, organizing, and doing minor repairs around the house feel like a fresh start instead of like chores. People are starting to think in terms of cleaning up their home for spring and summer, but many may not be able to get something done or know where to look for help. That’s where we can help.” says Rode.
The Senior Services arm of Mennonite Home Health was added in 2011 in response to requests from older community adults in their homes who needed help with tasks and chores that were not medical in nature.
Mennonite Home Health has offered clinical services such as nursing care, post-surgical care, medication assistance, speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy in the Bluffton community and surrounding areas for nearly 20 years.
“Now our Home Care Assistants can come to your home and offer not only personal care but in addition; meal preparation, personal errands, housekeeping/laundry service, transportation, companionship or other tasks you need done in your home.” says Rode.
A spring special is being offered to Senior Service clients 55 years of age and over where if you schedule two visits, the third is at no cost to you.
