Summer fitness classes begin June 3 at BFR
BFR Sports & Fitness announced its summer fitness class schedule. According to Carole Enneking, director, “Group fitness is still a popular workout option even in the summer."
This summer, an early morning Kettlebell Training class will be offered on Tuesdays beginning at 5:30 a.m. In addition, the 30-minute TBC (Total Body Conditioning) class will meet each weekday morning and the 8:30 a.m.
All Star Workout and YogaFit classes will continue. Evening options will be more limited until July when several running programs are introduced.
Instructors for the 8:30 a.m. classes are Sue Sheehan (Mondays), Kelly Martz (Wednesdays), and YogaFit with Sue Sheehan (Fridays). The Kettlebell Training class is led by Deb Parkins. The class moves from Thurday evenings to early mornings for the summer months.
The Low Impact Aerobics (Monday) class, led by Carole Enneking, and Thursday morning’s Strength and Flexibility class will continue to meet at 10 a.m.
The Strength and Flexibility class will be led by Keri Hilty McCoy. Evening options include Cardio Sculpt, led by Kelly Martz, on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. through June, and water exercise (held indoors at Maple Crest Senior Living facility) on Mondays at 6 p.m.
Fees for fitness classes range from $5 non-member, drop-in rate to multi-visit cards prices from $35-120. New participants may attend a class, at anytime, without charge.
