Bluffton garden tour offered for retirees
Registration remains open for a tour of six area gardens sponsored by Bluffton University’s Institute for Learning in Retirement.
Leaving from the Sommer Center parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, the tour will begin in Bluffton and include stops in Pandora and Fort Jennings, where a short, guided tour of the Fort Jennings Memorial Museum will also be offered. Cost is $35, including lunch; payment is due at the time of registration.
Participants must be able to walk unassisted or bring a companion on the tour, which will return to campus by 4:30 p.m. The rain date is June 20, when attendees should be available as well—there will be no reimbursements.
