Cameron Warner chamber breakfast speaker; BCE-chamber business workshop follows breakfast

Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce offers a free breakfast followed by a Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs-Chamber sponsored free business workshop on Friday, June 14, in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall.
Breakfast
Bluffton resident Cameron Warner, acting district director for U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan is the breakfast speaker. Warner is a Bluffton High School graduate. Breakfast is served from 7 to 7:30 a.m. The breakfast meeting starts at 7:30 a.m. Jeanne’s Kitchen is the breakfast provider.
In addition, the winners of the BCE Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition will be introducted.
Workshop at 8:45 a.m.
Bob Ostrander, Certified Financial Planner, CEO and founder of Centerpoint Stewardship, Columbus, will provide a free workshop at 8:45 a.m. The workshop, open to the public, touches on aspects of all sizes of businesses from entrepreneurs to successful business owners. He presents workshops across the U.S. on a variety of subjects of interest to business owners.
Beth Boehr of Beyond Budgeting, 119 Vine St., Bluffton, Centerpoint Stewardship representative, is frequent speaker on Centerpoint’s speaker circuit.
Persons attending the 8:45 a.m. workshop will receive a free copy of “I Never Thought of That!” The Essential Guidebook for Entrepreneurs, a 130-page book. The book is an $80 value.
Centerpoint Stewardship, business division, concentrates on reducing corporate expenses, maximizing revenue and employee financial education.
Friday’s touches on aspects of all sizes of businesses from entrepreneurs to successful business owners.
“It is our goal to be an outsource option that feels more like a partner, resulting in desired results that maximize return on investment,” said Ostrander.
According to Boehr Friday’s workshop will cover several topics including:
• Developing a business plan
• Strategic business planning
• Marketing
• Mission statement, vision statement
