Richard Boehr updates senior citizens on Shannon Cemetery plans
Bluffton Senior Citizens will hear an update on plans to create a community park at the Shannon Cemetery on Jefferson Street. Richard Boehr, Bluffton businessman, who is spearheading the project, will provide an update during the 6 p.m., Monday, July 8, monthly dinner meeting. Reservations for the dinner are required by Wednesday, July 3.
Boehr’s long-term proposal for Bluffton’s original cemetery is to create a more attractive entrance to the business district while maintaining the historical presence of the cemetery.
Several additional activities take place in July at the center. Those events are found in the center’s July newsletter, which is an attachment at the bottom of this story.
