Want to meet new people and help others? The MMH has a spot for you
The Mennonite Memorial Home has an open invitation for persons interested in meeting new people and helping others.
A volunteer is needed in the twice monthly 'nail spa." This volunteer, according to Mary Ring, volunteer coordinator, will file and polish assisted living residents' nails.
Volunteers are also needed to transport residents in wheelchairs to the chapel for Sunday worship service. Help is needed from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for that event.
Volunteers are also needed to transport residents to medical appointments. Volunteers will use MMH-owned vehicles to do the transporting. Only a regular driver's licence is needed. Pesons itnerested to help in any of these needs may contact Ring at the Home, 419-358-1015.
