Morning Songs at the Mustard Seed Café for Sunday Brunch
The Mustard Seed Café, 562 N. Main St., Bluffton, provides a special brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays, and now there is another reason to try it out.
Wendy and Sara Chappell-Dick will be providing live music on Sunday mornings outside on the patio from 9:30-11 a.m.
The mother-daughter duo has been playing together for many years, but Wendy and Sara are now starting to perform in public, at the Bluffton Farmers' Market, nursing homes, and the Mustard Seed.
Their set includes a wide variety of instruments and styles. Some of their favorite songs are by the Beatles, and they arrange the music with banjo, ukulele, guitar and accordion. The Chappell-Dicks also enjoy classical music and early American fiddle tunes, and they mix in Bach with cello and flute as well as 1800’s folk.
Both secular and sacred songs are included in their repertoire. Morning Songs at the Mustard Seed Café will be July 28 and Aug. 4, 11 and 18.
