Hey! It's back to school time and here's some details
The Bluffto Elementary, Middle School and High School offices are now open in preparation for the 2013-14 school year. Office hours are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m.
Post Secondary Students: Juniors and Seniors that have scheduled courses at Bluffton University need to make sure to stop in and see Mr. Shivley (Aug. 6-8). Make sure to bring in your college schedule. A letter should have been received from the guidance office in July with dates and times that he will be available.
Free/Reduced Lunches: Free and Reduced Lunch forms are available online by clicking on "Home" at the top of this page and then by clicking on "Forms" under the Parent and Community Section.
This form will also be mailed to parents along with the student's class fees. Please complete the form if you think you may be eligible (only one form needed per family) and return to one of the school offices ASAP. Approval of a free lunch could affect the amount of school fees so please turn it in prior to Aug. 14.
Schedule Pick Up/School Pictures:
August 14th:
Freshman 8-11:45 a.m.
Sophomores 1-3 p.m.
August 15th:
Juniors 8:00-11:45 a.m.
Seniors 1-3 p.m.
If you have a sibling in another grade level, or a time conflict with the above times, you can come in during one of the other designated times or during regular office hours after Aug. 15.
SENIOR PICTURES: Seniors will be photographed by Studio One/Life Touch at the high school when they pick up their schedules and pay their school fees. Studio One in Lima no longer offers this service at their facility. This photograph will be used for yearbook and school purposes. Please dress appropriately. Photographs will be taken on Aug. 14 and 15 from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m.
Lunch Price Increase: The cost for school lunches will be increased from from $2.45 to $2.75 for high school students and from $2.20 to $2.50 for both elementary and middle school students. Adult meals will be increased from $2.95 to $3.25. Ala-cart items will be available for an additional price.
Money can be applied to your child’s lunch account at any time by placing a payment in an envelope and writing their Name & Student ID# on the outside of the envelope and dropping it off in the HS office or cafeteria.
The Student ID# is the “Number” at the top of the enclosed student fee paper. You can also pay for their lunch online by credit card through www.lunchprepay.com for a minimal fee.
