Janice Dunlap 1947-2013
Janice E. Dunlap, 66, died at 3:15 a.m. Aug. 9, 2013, at her residence. She was born January 8, 1947, in Lima to the late William C. and Minnie M. (Mawhorr) Putt, Sr. She married James R. Dunlap and they were later divorced.
Janice had been a corrections officer at the Lima Correctional Institution. She was a 1965 graduate of Lafayette-Jackson High School and obtained an associate's degree in criminal justice/corrections from the Lima Technical College.
Survivors include a daughter Rochelle Dunlap of Delphos; a son J. Ryan (Jessica) Dunlap of Pandora; five grandchildren Wendy Dunlap, Breanna Dunlap, Schuyler Dunlap, Braden Dunlap, Corey (Samantha) Dunlap; two great grandchildren Iris VanDyke, Drake Dunlap; a best friend Carla Miller of Lima; and two heart daughters Candi Hinds of Lima and Lynn Dunlap of Spencerville.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to TLU Rescue, 142 Vance St., Bluffton, Ohio 45817.
