Calling all grade school girls - want to cheer for the Beavers?
The Bluffton University cheerleaders will host three practices for girls in grades 2-6, leading to a performance at a Beavers football game on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Participants will learn a dance, cheer and chant at the practices, scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16; Wednesday, Sept. 18; and Friday, Sept. 20, all on Copeland Court in the Sommer Center.
The performance will take place at halftime of the Sept. 21 game against Earlham at Salzman Stadium. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.
Sept. 13 is the deadline for registration, which may be done online at www.bluffton.edu/cheerettes. Cost is $25 per child, which includes a T-shirt. Checks should be payable to the Bluffton University Athletic Department and sent to Bluffton University, 1 University Drive, Bluffton 45817, Attn: Athletic Department.
