Bluffton American Legion helps fund several local organizations

Bluffton American Legion Post 382 presented checks to 11 area organizations on Sept. 9. From left, Ed Yeager, Community Assistance Program, Dr. Darrell Groman, Boy Scouts, Mike Metzger, Boy Scouts, Amanda Stechschulte, Girl Scouts, Erinn Prater, Bluffton Diamond Sports, and legion members, Dennis Morrison, Sam Reineke, Fred Arnold and Jerry Cupples.
According to Morrison, $6,000 was raise from the 4th annual golf outing, and was distributed to the following organizations:
• Honor Flight of northwest Ohio
• Wounded Warrior Project
• Operation Coomfort Warriors
• Sonny Zimmerman Family of Waynesfield
• Bluffton Diamond Sports
• Allen County Veterans Food Pantry
• Boy Scout Troop 256
• Bluffton Girl Scouts
• Post oratoricals
• Allen County Blue Star Mothers
