Carol Bogart had retired from Bluffton Hospital business office
Carol A. Bogart , 77 died Sept. 22, 2013 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born Oct. 25, 1935, in Delphos to the late Cloyd and Naomi (Krugh) Best. On July 25, 1955 she married Gene Bogart and he died Oct. 1, 2000.
She retired from the business office at Bluffton Hospital. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton. She was a 1953 graduate of Delphos St. John’s.
Survivors include two daughters Kim (Tim) Lehman of Columbus Grove, Lani (Scott) Shumaker of Bluffton; five grandchildren Onalee (Nick) Shepler, Kyle Lutz, Alex (Lindsey) Shumaker, Aaron Lutz, Scotty Shumaker; a great grandson Levi Shepler; and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister Mildred "Dot" Kriegel.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton. Rev. David Plant officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
