Bluffton chamber-Webb Insurance co-sponsor Friday workshops on Medicare/Healthcare Act
Webb Insurance Agency health care professionals, Becky Waggamon and Deb Shelley, will offer two free informational sessions on Medicare and the Affordable Healthcare Act (ACA) on Friday, Nov. 15.
Both sessions are co-sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce. The sessions are free and open to the public and are in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall.
9:30 a.m. session focus on Medicare
The 9:30 – 11 a.m. session will focus on person 65 or older. Waggamon will lead this season that will include information on:
• Medicare Advantage Plans
• Medicare Supplement Plans
• Part D Prescription Drug Plans
Refreshments will be provided during the session.
11:30 a.m. session on Affordable Healthcare Act
From 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Shelley will be speaking about health insurance and the Obama Care Exchange Program.
This session is especially designed for persons under 65. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
Waggamon has been in the insurance industry since 1982. She joined Webb Insurance in 1988 and is the Manager of the Health Insurance & Group Benefits Department. She has completed the CLU, ChFC and LUTCF.
