Trinity Lutheran announces Christmas services
A special afternoon Christmas Eve service by the students of Trinity Lutheran Church and School, Jenera, called "The Carols of Christmas” will be held on Friday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m. in the church at 301 N. Main St., Jenera. The students from Pre-school through Eighth Grade will tell of the birth of Christ through Word and Christmas hymns. Pre-service music by the youth will begin at 12:30 p.m.
Pre-service music on Tuesday Dec. 24, will begin at 6:30 p.m.. At 7 p.m., "The Carols of Christmas" (also given on Dec. 20 at 1 p.m.) will be presented by the students of Pre-school through Eighth Grade. The service tells of the birth of Christ through Word and Christmas hymns.
The Christmas Day celebration service will begin at 9:30 a.m. The Choir will sing an arrangement of “Joy to the World” by Joseph M. Martin from the cantata Morning Star. The public is welcome at all services and the church is handicapped accessible. More information is available at http://tlcjenera.org
