Darrin Conaway was a Sprint car owner
Darrin L. Conaway, 50 died Jan. 8, 2014, in Liberty Township, Hardin County, Ohio. He was born May 23, 1963, in Bluffton to LeRoy "Lee" and Gayla (Wynkoop) Conaway. He had previously been married to Cassandra Snyder.
He was an Sprint car owner of Conaway Motor Sports in which he had previously won a national championship.
Survivors include his mother Gayla Conaway of Mt. Cory; two sons, Kyle Conaway of Ada, Klay Conaway of Caldwell, Ohio; two grandsons Christian Conaway, Preston Cline-Conaway; a brother David (Carolyn) Conaway of Mt. Cory; two sisters Debra Sapienza of Findlay, Dina (Art) Kennon of Clay City, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his father LeRoy "Lee" Conaway.
Services will be held 8 p.m. Monday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services. Pastor Steve Pilarsh officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. till time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Darrin's name to the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com
