Allen County Health Department reveals new name/website
The Allen County Health Department is ringing in the New Year with a new name and a new website.
“Our new name better reflects what we do and highlights our Public Health mission to prevent disease, promote good health and protect the health of our community,” said Kathy Luhn, Health Commissioner.
The new website, www.allencountypublichealth.org highlights the name change and allows for easier navigation. Popular features from our former website such as our on-line vaccine scheduler and restaurant inspection reports have been included in our new website. People can continue to follow us on Facebook.
Allen County Public Health is on the front line for Allen County’s overall health. You may not always see the work we do, but you are safer and healthier because of it:
Protecting residents from health threats.

· Assuring safe water, restaurant food and air
· Ready to respond to respond the public health emergencies – natural or man-made
