This week is paradise for Bluffton used book lovers - 2 sales in process
If you love used books sales, this is your week. Two sales are now underway in Bluffton. The Bluffton Friends of the Library hold a sale from April 10 to 17. Bluffton University's Musselman Library will host its 2010 book sale Tueseday to Friday, April 13-16, in the main-floor Reading Room. Here are the details:
Bluffton Public Library sale
The Bluffton Friends of the Library's used book sale is April 10 through 17 during normal library hours. In and around the Apple Shed in the library poatrons will find mysteries, children's books, self-help books, craft books, biographies, and other fiction and non-fiction books. There will also be DVDs, VCR tapes, books on tape, magazines, and journals.
Also on sale will be a section of large print books. All materials will be for sale for a donation only.
Proceeds from the sale help fund library programs including the Summer
Children's Reading Program. As an example of how monies raised by the
Friends are spent, last December the Friends gave the Library $1,000 to purchase new books as a kick off to their Buck$ for Book$ campaign.
The Friends of the Library are always looking for donations of books,
DVDs, tapes, magazines and other media materials. Patrons may drop them off at the library at any time, and may ask for the tax deduction
form when bringing in donations.
