Apollo ECE hosts March 10 fundraiser auction
The Apollo Career Center Early Childhood Education (ECE) program is hosting a fund-raising auction titled Heart 2 Art on Monday, March 10, from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Apollo Career Center.
Early Childhood Education students work in daycares and preschools for hands-on experience in their chosen field. The masterpieces sold to the highest bidders during the auction are the pictures the preschool and daycare students have created for this event.
Funds from this project will assist ECE students with industry credentialing needed to elevate and add additional value to the two years of education received at Apollo. Currently the Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate will cost each Apollo ECE student approximately $425.
The funds from this event, complete with a jazz band, auctioneer, and refreshments, will help to offset the costs of the CDA. This event is free and open to the public.
For more information, please call Courtnee Morris, ECE instructor, at 419.998.2905
