Krysti’s Music Studio playing for the good of the community
This is the second in a series of stories on Bluffton businesses and organizations written by students in a Bluffton University Intro to Journalism class taught by Dan Fultz.

Krysti Schey says, “You can't be shy about music,” which is very true, because she is not shy at all when it comes to helping young and old Bluffton musicians.
Schey is the co-owner of Krysti’s Music Studio and the studio is involved in several community activities.
Schy is a piano teacher. She received her bachelor’s in music at Bluffton University in 2008. After that she obtained a master's degree at Bowling Green State University in 2010. Schey has been taking piano lessons since she was 7 years old. She has been giving lessons since she was in high school.
Krysti’s Music Studio has several special events in addition to recitals during the year. For example, each summer the studio offers an art camp for youth ages 5 through high school.
Perhaps the most popular event held is a performathon.
"This performathon is a way in showing what giving back is all about.” said Schey. "We have it every August and through it we raise money to Campus Life/ Youth for Christ."
