Friday chamber breakfast features Bluffton school classroom technology; healing touches workshop follows
Bluffton schools will present a program showcasing its latest classroom technology during the Friday, April 11, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast. The program is in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall.
In addition, Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs will announce the three winners of its 2014 Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition. The first place winner receives $5,000 in business start up costs; second place $1,000 in business start up costs; third place, a one-year free affiliation with BCE’s services.
First National Bank is the breakfast sponsor. The free breakfast, open to the public, is served from 7 to 7:30 a.m. The program follows from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
The program will include several other announcements pertaining to Bluffton businesses.
Healing Touch workshop at 8:45 a.m.
A free workshop follows at 8:45 a.m. presented by Ruth Everett of Ruth Everett’s Healing Touches.
Everett said, “The workshop will demonstrate muscle testing, how our thoughts have energy and showing a self help tool -Emotional Freedom Technique - (EFT) also called Tapping. By tapping on Meridian (energy) points on the body we release the emotional connection - that can be 90% or more - to physical, emotional and mental pain in the body.”
