BVHS corporate PR & marketing wins national awards
Blanchard Valley Health System’s Corporate Public Relations & Marketing Department has been named the winner of three 2014 Healthcare Advertising Awards in the 31st Annual Health Care Advertising Awards competition, sponsored by the Healthcare Marketing Report.
BVHS received a Bronze Award in the “Special Video” category for an internal safety awareness video. Merit Awards were also received in the “Employee Communication” category for employee benefits communication and in the “Total Integrated Marketing Campaign” category for the Extraordinary People advertising campaign.
To assign Healthcare Advertising Awards, a national panel of judges reviewed all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. This year more than 3,700 entries were received, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition and one of the 10 largest of all advertising awards. Gold awards were awarded to 297 entries, silver awards to 279 entries and bronze awards to only 252 entries.
All communications materials receiving awards were conceptualized, scripted and developed by the BVHS team. This team includes Amy Leach, Amy Jordan, Megan James, Abby Hartman, Mindy Radabaugh and Brian Rader. Creative assistance for the Safety Video was provided by Chris Webb, BVHS director of occupational health and rehabilitation. Video production assistance for the Safety Video was given by Stephen Carter of Time Warner Cable, and video production for the Extraordinary People campaign was given by Ben Severance and Zack Conkle of Timber & Frame.
