Author of youth adult book "Overcome - The Story of a Girl" visits Bluffton Public Library June 27
The Bluffton Public Library will host M.E. Reach, an author of young adult books, at 2 p.m., Friday, June 27. The program is in the Young Adult section of the library, according to Esther Birkey, Youth Services Coordinator.
Reach has worked with teens and adolescents for nearly 11 years in a variety of contexts, across five states and in two foreign countries. He and his wife, Cassi, and their children, have recently returned to the U.S. after serving in Bangladesh.
Reach’s most recent publication, ‘Overcome – The Story of a Girl’ and find out more about what inspired him to write about teens and the difficulties they face.
A recent review from Amazon states:
‘M. E. Reach has a wonderful handle on the life of teens. The tale of Erin's roller coaster high school experiences is easy for young ladies to relate to. This is a great book for girls struggling through peer pressure and deep desires to fit into the cool crowd. I know I've been there - and this book will resonate with girls who are in that place now. I'm sure many
girls can identify with the main character and follow her on her journey through tough times…’
Refreshments will be provided.
